Undergraduate design students and emerging designers (people with less than 5 years of professional experience), don't miss this opportunity to have your portfolio reviewed by experienced creative professionals.

At Under Review 2024:

• You will gain insight from three 25 minute one-on-one reviews
• Sit in on an optional panel discussion with local leading professionals in the art and design industry
• Opportunity to network with regional professionals and colleagues over hors d’oeuvres

Deadline

All participants (students, emerging designers and reviewers) must register by February 24, 2024 at 11:59PM. We have to provide a final count for catering, the venue, and confirm we have the proper amount of professional reviewers.

Financial Assistance

We are offering financial assistance for the ticket costs for students or emerging designers that need it. Please email info@nwa.aiga.org if you need financial assistance.

Participants are encouraged to read and adhere to our code of conduct. Look for portfolio tips, what to expect and how to prepare in your email and on our social media channels leading up to the event.

How it Works

Step 1 - Register

Fill out the registration form and mark your calendar for Saturday, March 9!

Step 2 - Match

We'll match you with up to 3 professionals based on your area(s) of interest as closely as we can. We will have two groups of reviews:

Group A will be held from 9:00AM–10:30AM.

Group B will be held from 11:00AM–12:30PM.

A week before the event, we will send out emails confirming which Group you will participate in and who your matches will be.

Step 3 - Review

Arrive at University of Arkansas School of Art Studio + Design Center. Use the front entrance (the one facing M.L.K. Jr. Blvd) and check-in at the AIGA table to receive instructions and event info. Reviews will start promptly at 9:00AM. It is recommended reviewees arrive at 8:30AM to set up. If you arrive late, you will be asked to wait for the next round of reviews to begin.
