Join us for AIGA Northwest Arkansas’ 9th Annual Under Review, presented this year by The University of Arkansas–Fort Smith!

Undergraduate design students and emerging designers (people with less than 5 years of professional experience) from all around the Ozarks, don't miss this opportunity to have your portfolio reviewed by experienced creative professionals. We’ve got some new things in store for this year’s event.

At Under Review 2025:

• You will gain insight from three 25 minute one-on-one reviews
• Sit in on special guest speaker
• Participate in a printmaking workshop led by Jay Fox
• Be a part of a collaborative community art project
• Network with regional professionals and colleagues over lunch

Reviewers

We are pleased to have reviewers representing a variety of backgrounds and disciplines. Interested in helping out the next generation of designers? Sign up to be a reviewer by selecting the Reviewer ticket.

Deadline

All participants (students, emerging designers and reviewers) must register by March 3, 2025 at 11:59PM. We have to provide a final count for catering, the venue, and confirm we have the proper amount of professional reviewers.

Financial Assistance

You do not have to be an AIGA NWA member to attend. We are offering financial assistance for the ticket costs for students or emerging designers that need it. Please email info@nwa.aiga.org if you need financial assistance.

How it Works

Step 1 - Register

Fill out the registration form and mark your calendar for Saturday, March 15!

Step 2 - Match

This year we will be randomizing matches based on design disciplines. When you register online, please note which Group you would prefer to be in and we will do our best to accommodate your selection.

Group A will be held from 11:00 AM–12:55 PM.

Group B will be held from 1:25 PM–2:55 PM.

A week before the event, we will send out emails confirming which Group and timeframe you will participate in.

Step 3 - Review

Arrive at The University of Arkansas–Fort Smith Windgate Art and Design Building, 5210 Kinkead Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72903 and check-in at the AIGA table to receive instructions and event info. Reviews will start promptly at 11:30AM. It is recommended reviewees arrive by 11:00 AM to set up. If you arrive late, you will be asked to wait for the next round of reviews to begin.
